There are countless uses for laser cleaning technology in the O&G and petrochemical refining industry.  The use of light to remove contaminants compared to abrasive techniques greatly extend the life of assets, eliminates need for disassembly and transportation of components, and greatly reduce environmental waste.  Since the laser also removes micro contaminants from the base material, as well as all moisture, paint can be applied immediately.

 

Rotating equipment, assets with electrical components, high tolerance pieces, and thin walled metal are ideal candidates to be cleaned with the laser.
